QC Inspector
Our client is seeking a QC Inspector to support quality assurance efforts in a precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inspecting parts throughout the production process, verifying compliance with engineering specifications, and collaborating with production teams to maintain high quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in sheet metal inspection, and committed to continuous improvement and product excellence.

This role is on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon working Monday-Thursday from 6AM-4:30PM.

QC Inspector Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to verify parts meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Inspect components before secondary operations and conduct routine spot checks throughout production to ensure consistent quality.
• Identify quality concerns, communicate findings with production personnel, and support corrective action and root cause investigations.
• Complete and maintain accurate inspection reports, quality records, and documentation using computer-based systems.
• Verify inspection equipment is properly calibrated and ensure nonconforming materials are identified, documented, and handled according to established procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide additional production support as business needs require.

QC Inspector Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, with sheet metal fabrication inspection experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and GD&T.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection instruments.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including data entry, email, and electronic quality documentation systems.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation and the flexibility to work overtime as needed to support production demands.

Compensation: $28-$33/hr. (DOE)
