Epic HB & PB Admin & Claims Consultant
Our client is seeking an experienced Epic HB & PB Admin & Claims Consultant to support the implementation of a newly established inpatient rehabilitation facility within an Epic-based environment. This role will play a critical part in configuring, optimizing, and supporting both hospital and professional billing workflows across integrated systems. The ideal candidate brings deep Epic expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This role is fully remote.

Epic HB & PB Admin & Claims Consultant Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and support of Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) modules, including claims processing and system optimization.
• Support the build and go-live of a new inpatient rehabilitation facility within an integrated EHR ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Epic and external systems, including real-time interface connectivity.
• Facilitate accurate and efficient billing workflows between professional billing within the EHR and facility billing managed in a separate platform.
• Troubleshoot complex billing and claims issues, ensuring compliance and operational continuity.
• Provide guidance on best practices for revenue cycle workflows, system configuration, and claims management.
• Assist with testing, validation, and end-user support during implementation and post-go-live stabilization.

Epic HB & PB Admin & Claims Consultant Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Epic HB and PB modules, including claims administration and support.
• Proven experience in healthcare system implementations, particularly involving billing workflows and system integrations.
• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle processes, including claims generation, edits, and adjudication.
• Experience working with system interfaces and integrating EHR platforms with third-party applications.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system and workflow issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into operational solutions.
• Epic certification(s) in HB and/or PB preferred.

Compensation: $75-$90/hr. (DOE)
