Administrative Specialist
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to provide comprehensive operational and administrative support within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. This role requires strong communication, discretion, and the ability to work independently while supporting a variety of departmental initiatives.
This role is onsite in Boston, Massachusetts.
Administrative Specialist Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support for department operations, projects, and leadership activities.
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record meeting minutes to support team coordination.
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, charts, and professional correspondence to support operational and project needs.
- Maintain office operations including inventory tracking, supply ordering, mail distribution, and general office coordination.
- Manage administrative records such as contract databases and assist with new hire onboarding and personnel documentation.
Administrative Specialist Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of professional administrative or office operations experience supporting complex business functions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional proofreading, grammar, and editing abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
Compensation: $24-$26/hr (DOE)
