Billing Analyst
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment managing financial transactions, billing operations, and reconciliation activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex financial data, collaborating across teams, and ensuring billing accuracy while maintaining strong compliance with financial standards and regulations. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to resolving billing and delinquency issues.

This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon.

Billing Analyst Responsibilities

• Monitor and process billing-related transactions including premium receipts, adjustments, invoicing, deductions, reversals, and delinquency activity.
• Prepare and generate monthly billing statements while ensuring accuracy and proper fee disclosure.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, supporting reconciliation efforts and financial adjustments as needed.
• Audit billing system data and collaborate with internal teams to improve billing processes and operational efficiency.
• Communicate billing information and issue resolutions with internal stakeholders, brokers, and external partners.

Billing Analyst Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of accounting, finance, or complex financial operations experience.
• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and organize large volumes of financial data.
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel, Word, and business systems used for billing or financial operations.
• Customer service experience and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
