Associate Business Systems Analyst (Data Services)
Our client is seeking an Associate Business Systems Analyst to support data services operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality data deliverables. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to validate data, support production workflows, and maintain clear communication across cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.

This role is fully remote. Applicants are required to work East Coast or Central Time Zone hours.

Associate Business Systems Analyst Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate data using Excel and SQL to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business requirements.
• Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, and validation processes prior to release of deliverables.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, client services, and technical teams to ensure smooth production workflows and timely issue resolution.
• Monitor ongoing data processes, identify anomalies, and coordinate corrective actions to minimize operational disruption.
• Communicate status updates, risks, and progress clearly to internal teams, project stakeholders, and leadership.
• Track service requests, log progress, and document work in accordance with established standards and operational policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance data integrity, documentation, and workflow efficiency.

Associate Business Systems Analyst Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a data-focused, business systems, or analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation techniques.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience querying relational databases (e.g., SQL Server or similar platforms).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical or data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience supporting data-driven production environments or client-facing operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with data governance, auditability, or data quality frameworks is a plus.

Compensation: $24-$29/hr. (DOE)
