Senior Front-End Developer
Our client is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to support the evolution of an established, content-driven web platform. This role centers on enhancing templating, component behavior, and styling architecture within a Django-based CMS environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in mature codebases, collaborating with backend engineers, and delivering polished, responsive user experiences.

This role is fully remote.

Senior Front-End Developer Responsibilities

• Extend and refine CMS-driven front-end components to support new design and content requirements.
• Modify and maintain structured content blocks, ensuring compatibility with existing data models and templates.
• Translate dynamic data into clean, maintainable Django templates while preserving content integrity.
• Own and optimize the styling architecture using modern CSS/SCSS practices and build tooling.
• Diagnose and resolve responsive layout, cross-browser, and rendering inconsistencies.
• Implement precise visual updates with strong attention to spacing, typography, and interaction details.
• Collaborate with backend developers to align template logic, assets, and component behavior.
• Contribute to front-end performance improvements and general UI stability.

Senior Front-End Developer Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in front-end development within a Django environment.
• Practical experience working with a Python-based CMS or structured content framework.
• Proficiency modifying template logic and component-driven rendering patterns.
• Advanced CSS/SCSS expertise, including maintainable styling architecture and compilation workflows.
• Comfort navigating existing codebases and troubleshooting UI or styling regressions.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and browser behavior.
• Experience with modern front-end build tools and asset pipelines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation: $55-$62/hr. (DOE)
