JavaScript Developer
Our client is seeking a JavaScript Developer to support and enhance user-facing integrations for a modern, API-driven SaaS platform. This role focuses on building and maintaining browser- and productivity-based extensions, with an emphasis on long-term code ownership, performance, and reliability. The ideal candidate is comfortable working within established codebases, navigating technical debt thoughtfully, and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to deliver durable, high-quality solutions.

This role is fully remote.

JavaScript Developer Responsibilities

• Own JavaScript code end-to-end for Chrome Extensions and Outlook Add-Ons, including enhancements, refactors, maintenance, and long-term improvements.
• Design, implement, and evolve complex client-side features with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work effectively within existing architectures, balancing delivery of new functionality with improvements to legacy code.
• Translate product and business requirements into clear, well-structured technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive, user-centered experiences.
• Contribute to technical discussions and decisions, advocating for sustainable patterns and pragmatic tradeoffs.
• Produce clear technical documentation, including design considerations, implementation details, and testing approaches.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including story definition, acceptance criteria refinement, QA collaboration, and end-to-end testing.

JavaScript Developer Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional JavaScript or front-end engineering experience, with significant time operating at a senior level.
• Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining production-grade JavaScript applications.
• Direct experience developing Chrome Extensions and/or Outlook Add-Ons.
• Proven ability to own and support mature codebases, including addressing technical debt responsibly.
• Experience collaborating within Agile development environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A long-term mindset toward code ownership, stability, and continuous improvement.

Salary: $140K/year. (DOE)
