Technical Apparel Accessories Designer
Our client is seeking a Technical Apparel Accessories Designer to support a focused, fast-moving accessories design team. This role is ideal for a technically strong bag designer who thrives on translating creative concepts into build-ready solutions and enjoys partnering closely with another designer to bring ideas to life. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and confident working behind the scenes to ensure design intent is executed with precision.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Technical Apparel Accessories Designer Responsibilities

• Translate conceptual design direction into technically sound bag solutions across backpacks, totes, duffels, and related accessories.
• Develop detailed tech packs, construction details, and specifications to support accurate product execution.
• Partner closely with an accessories designer to implement design ideas while maintaining material, construction, and performance integrity.
• Apply deep knowledge of bag construction, components, and materials to support feasibility and quality.
• Contribute technical insights and problem-solving throughout the design and development process.

Technical Apparel Accessories Designer Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience designing bags or accessories within fashion, sport, or performance-driven environments.
• Strong technical foundation in bag construction, materials, and accessories development.
• Proven experience creating comprehensive tech packs and technical documentation.
• Portfolio demonstrating hands-on bag design work, with emphasis on technical execution and build details.
• Ability to interpret and execute on others’ creative direction with accuracy and efficiency.

Compensation: Up to $56.67/hr.
