Recruiter
Our client is seeking a Recruiter to join a collaborative talent acquisition team supporting a wide range of professional roles across the organization. This is a high-touch, relationship-driven position that partners closely with hiring managers to deliver an inclusive, thoughtful, and well-run hiring experience from intake through onboarding. The Recruiter will manage a moderate requisition load and play an active role in shaping positive candidate and stakeholder experiences.
This role is primarily remote, with quarterly in-office presence required and occasional attendance at in-person recruiting events. Applicants located in Oregon or Washington will be prioritized.
Recruiter Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for a diverse portfolio of roles, from initial intake through offer and onboarding coordination.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, refine job descriptions, align on interview strategies, and support interview facilitation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring teams by providing guidance on equitable, inclusive, and effective hiring practices.
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through timely communication, thoughtful coordination, and professionalism at every stage of the process.
- Source and attract talent using a mix of active and passive strategies, including applicant tracking systems, networking, events, and online platforms.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines by engaging past applicants and prospective candidates for future opportunities.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and facilities partners to support smooth and timely onboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate records and data within recruiting and HR systems, ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and internal processes.
- Prepare and maintain recruiting metrics, demographic data, and standard or ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Contribute to broader people-related or HR initiatives outside of recruiting as business needs require.
Recruiter Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience managing end-to-end recruiting processes, preferably across a variety of role types.
- Demonstrated experience applying equitable and inclusive recruiting practices throughout the hiring lifecycle.
- Prior in-house recruiting experience is strongly preferred; agency experience is also valued.
- Experience supporting or recruiting within nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems; experience working across multiple ATS platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-service mindset and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and requisitions simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with data, maintaining accurate records, and using reporting tools to support recruiting efforts.
Compensation: $30-$35/hr. (DOE)
