Sr. Accountant (Temp)
Our client is seeking a seasoned, hands-on temporary Senior Accountant to step in and provide immediate support during a critical period of growth and operational scaling. This individual will bring strong technical accounting judgment, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The ideal consultant is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable partnering cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuity.

This role is fully remote. Applicants located in the PST time zone are preferred.

Sr. Accountant (Temp) Responsibilities

• Support core general accounting functions and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses across key balance sheet and P&L accounts.
• Assist with compliance-related activities, including audit, tax, payroll, and international subsidiary support.
• Contribute to special projects such as system enhancements, process improvements, or ERP optimization initiatives.
• Provide cross-coverage and backup support for adjacent accounting functions as needed.

Sr. Accountant (Temp) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 5+ years of progressive general accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting foundation with solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Background in public accounting or similarly rigorous accounting environments preferred.
• Hands-on experience with modern accounting systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation: $50-$80/hr. (DOE)
