Proposal Writer/Editor – B2B (Part Time)
Our client is seeking a part-time Proposal Writer/Editor – B2B to support the development, editing, and refinement of professional business proposals and related materials. This role focuses on ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency across proposal content while adhering to AP style guidelines and established branding standards. The ideal candidate brings strong B2B proposal experience, excellent editorial judgment, and the ability to work independently within agreed-upon turnaround timelines.

This role is a remote, part-time role working around 15-20 hours a work. Candidates must be located on the West Coast.

Proposal Writer/Editor – B2B Responsibilities

  • Review, edit, and refine business proposals, RFP responses, and related written materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Apply AP style consistently across all documents, ensuring proper grammar, tone, and formatting.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to incorporate technical, financial, and service-related content into polished, client-ready proposals.
  • Maintain and update proposal templates to ensure brand consistency and efficient document production.
  • Proofread materials for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with submission requirements and deadlines.
  • Manage assigned workloads independently, meeting agreed-upon turnaround expectations for edits and reviews.

Proposal Writer/Editor – B2B Qualifications

  • Prior experience writing and editing RFP responses or business proposals within a B2B or professional services environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of AP style with the ability to apply it consistently and confidently.
  • Familiarity with accounting terminology, tax concepts, and financial statements.
  • Experience maintaining document templates and enforcing consistent branding standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage part-time workloads effectively.

Compensation: $25-$32/hr. (DOE)
