Technical Program Manager
Our client is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that require strong coordination, structured execution, and clear communication. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technical delivery, ensuring programs progress with alignment, visibility, and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable operating in ambiguity, and confident communicating with senior stakeholders.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Technical Program Manager Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of complex technical programs spanning engineering, product, design, and operational teams.
- Convert strategic objectives into actionable program structures, including milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
- Drive cross-functional alignment on priorities, scope, dependencies, and delivery expectations.
- Orchestrate activities across multiple teams, ensuring progress remains on track in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Communicate program status, risks, and decisions through clear, executive-ready updates and reporting mechanisms.
- Identify potential risks, constraints, and competing priorities, while facilitating practical mitigation strategies.
- Partner with technical teams to support feasibility discussions, sequencing decisions, and implementation planning.
- Promote agile planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement practices throughout the program lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain program documentation, dashboards, and progress tracking artifacts.
- Leverage data, KPIs, and performance metrics to guide decisions and improve program outcomes.
- Support resource planning, budget coordination, and external partner engagement where applicable.
Technical Program Manager Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, program leadership, or related roles within technology-driven environments.
- Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives involving technical systems, platforms, or services.
- Strong program leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate work across diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including executive-level reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Solid technical fluency, particularly in areas such as cloud technologies, APIs, and data platforms.
- Practical experience working within agile or iterative delivery frameworks.
- Experience using metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to drive transparency and decision-making.
- Familiarity with collaboration, reporting, and program tooling commonly used in modern Microsoft-based environments is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Program or agile-related certifications are considered an advantage.
Compensation: $45-$52/hr. (DOE)
