Sr. Human Resources Business Partner
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic and hands-on HR leadership in support of complex clinical and operational teams. This role partners closely with leaders and HR centers of excellence to align people strategies with business priorities, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliant, effective workforce practices within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate brings deep HR generalist expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
This role is a hybrid model in Boston, Massachusetts.
Sr. Human Resources Business Partner Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders by aligning human resources initiatives with operational goals, organizational strategy, and workforce planning needs.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and compliance with state and federal employment laws.
- Partner with leadership to support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, workforce planning, talent assessments, and change communication strategies.
- Collaborate with HR functional partners to deliver integrated solutions across talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, learning and development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Coach and support leaders on leadership development, employee engagement, and change management to strengthen team performance and culture.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide HR programs such as performance cycles, merit planning, and incentive processes to ensure consistent and effective execution.
- Support career development and succession planning initiatives in partnership with organizational development resources.
- Maintain current knowledge of HR best practices, regulatory changes, and healthcare workforce trends to proactively inform business decisions.
- Participate in cross-functional committees, meetings, and initiatives as needed to support organizational objectives.
- Uphold organizational standards, values, and conduct expectations while supporting a culture of respect, inclusion, and service excellence.
Sr. Human Resources Business Partner Qualifications
- 10 or more years of progressive human resources experience, with demonstrated success operating as a strategic HR business partner in complex organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, organizational development, and HR program delivery.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and effectively partner with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience supporting clinical, operational, or highly regulated environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated strengths in change management, organizational design, and workforce planning.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort delivering guidance and recommendations to leadership groups.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR) is a plus.
