Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a senior-level accounting professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys bringing clarity to large, multi-source financial data. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, highly analytical, and comfortable working independently while partnering closely with stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines. Success in this role requires persistence, sound judgment, and the ability to clearly document and communicate findings.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Reconcile financial data between multiple source systems and the general ledger.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies across high-volume, multi-line data sets.
• Work through a reconciliation backlog by systematically identifying, researching, and resolving data issues.
• Determine whether discrepancies are related to known system issues or new data errors, and document findings accordingly.
• Maintain clear documentation of reconciliation work, issues identified, and resolutions to support accurate financial reporting.
• Partner with the hiring manager and accounting team to ensure reconciliations are completed in advance of reporting deadlines.

Senior Accountant Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with complex reconciliations across multiple data sources or systems.
• Demonstrated ability to independently own and drive reconciliation projects with minimal oversight.
• Senior-level accounting experience with a proven track record of accuracy, follow-through, and problem-solving.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Clear and effective communication skills, particularly when documenting issues and explaining variances.
• Experience with specific ERP or billing systems is helpful but not required; training will be provided on relevant reports.

Compensation: $40–$45/hour. (DOE)
