Sourcing Analyst
Our client is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to support global product sourcing, factory allocation, and cost planning activities within a fast-paced consumer products environment. This role sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, requiring strong analytical capabilities and a practical understanding of product creation and manufacturing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, commercially minded, and comfortable working with complex datasets to drive informed sourcing decisions.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Sourcing Analyst Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and cost planning activities to help ensure product profitability and margin alignment.
  • Support factory allocation, vendor sourcing, and costing processes across multiple product categories.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Analyze product, cost, and operational data to identify risks, trends, and optimization opportunities.
  • Partner closely with finance, product creation, supply planning, and manufacturing teams to evaluate tradeoffs and inform decisions.
  • Maintain and manipulate large datasets using Excel to generate actionable business insights.
  • Contribute to seasonal and long-range sourcing initiatives within a global supply chain framework.

Sourcing Analyst Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a sourcing, costing, or supply chain-related role.
  • Practical knowledge of apparel, footwear, textiles, or consumer product manufacturing environments.
  • Strong Excel expertise, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and basic financial calculations.
  • Solid understanding of retail math, costing structures, and margin concepts.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills and comfort building executive-level presentations.
  • Background working with sourcing, manufacturing, or supply chain data.
  • Proven ability to influence, build consensus, and work both independently and within teams.

Compensation: Up to $38.03/hr. (DOE)
