Social Media Lead – Brand Initiatives
Our client is seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Lead to drive the vision, planning, and execution of social content across key brand initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in shaping how the brand connects with audiences in fast-paced, culturally relevant spaces, particularly within seasonal sports moments. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking, creative direction, and hands-on leadership, with the ability to translate insights into impactful social storytelling.

This role is onsite in Beaverton, Oregon. Applicants must have flexibility to work during weekends when needed and some travel may be required.

Social Media Lead Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand priorities and business goals.
  • Own end-to-end planning for campaigns, including content roadmaps, platform strategies, and performance KPIs.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of social specialists and content creators, ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Partner cross-functionally with brand, creative, and communications teams to deliver cohesive messaging.
  • Manage external agency relationships, including briefing, feedback, and overall performance.
  • Oversee content development from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with brand voice and visual standards.
  • Monitor trends, audience behavior, and platform updates to continuously evolve strategy.
  • Ensure timelines, workflows, and deliverables are managed effectively across multiple initiatives.

Social Media Lead Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel social media campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working with external agencies, including briefing, budget oversight, and deliverable management.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, content trends, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate strategy into clear direction and actionable plans.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation: Up to $47.33/hr. (DOE)
