Senior Integration Developer
Our client is seeking a Senior Integration Developer to lead the design, development, and support of enterprise integration solutions, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms. This individual will play a critical role in enabling reliable, secure, and scalable data exchange across internal systems and external services, while providing technical leadership to support ongoing digital initiatives.

This role is fully remote.

Senior Integration Developer Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain complex integration solutions leveraging MuleSoft, with a strong focus on Salesforce-connected ecosystems.
  • Architect and develop RESTful and SOAP-based APIs, enterprise services, and middleware components to support business-critical applications.
  • Lead technical design discussions and contribute to integration architecture decisions across platforms and teams.
  • Ensure integrations meet performance, reliability, scalability, and security standards for both internal and external data exchanges.
  • Configure and manage APIs, proxy services, analytics, and access controls using MuleSoft API management tools.
  • Partner with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Provide troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and ongoing support for production integrations and middleware platforms.
  • Implement and enforce API security standards, data governance practices, and version control processes.
  • Stay current on integration patterns, middleware technologies, and industry best practices to inform continuous improvement.

Senior Integration Developer Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting integrations in a MuleSoft CloudHub environment.
  • 8+ years of Salesforce platform development experience in enterprise settings.
  • MuleSoft Developer certification is preferred.
  • Salesforce Developer certification is preferred.
  • Extensive hands-on experience building MuleSoft integrations with Salesforce in complex enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including CloudHub 2.0, API development, flows, DataWeave, error handling, and ETL patterns.
  • Strong Salesforce technical background, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, CLI tools, and platform integrations.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce automation and data tools, such as Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes, APIs, and Data Loader.
  • Solid understanding of integration protocols and data formats, including REST, HTTP, MQ, JSON, XML, and service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience implementing secure integrations, including authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices.
  • Proficiency with source control and deployment workflows using Git-based repositories.
  • Hands-on experience with external system integrations, including FTP/SFTP and third-party services.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex integration issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with comfort collaborating across technical teams and engaging with mid-to-senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce administration concepts, B2B Commerce, and Experience Builder environments.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, well-documented technical solutions.

Salary: $120k-$140k/year. (DOE)
