Senior Developer – Stripe Mobile App
Our client is seeking a Senior Developer – Stripe Mobile App to support a high-visibility mobile application initiative that will power an upcoming flagship event. This role will contribute to the design and implementation of a hybrid mobile experience built on a third-party event platform, enhanced through custom components, integrations, performance improvements, and cross-functional collaboration. The developer will help drive front-end architecture, ensure technical craft across the codebase, and contribute to a refined attendee experience from pre-event onboarding through live-event execution.

This role is fully remote.

Senior Developer – Stripe Mobile App Responsibilities

• Lead front-end development for a hybrid mobile application built on an event platform foundation, including custom feature implementation and UI component creation.
• Translate detailed design specifications into reusable, accessible, and scalable components aligned with modern development standards.
• Collaborate closely with design, engineering, product, and strategy partners to ensure cohesive delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support integration efforts involving APIs, third-party services, and platform tooling.
• Contribute to build processes, quality assurance efforts, and app store release preparation.
• Participate in live event readiness and troubleshooting during event week.
• Maintain strong development hygiene through code reviews, linting, type safety, CI workflows, and deployment processes.

Senior Developer – Stripe Mobile App Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in React.js, including component composition, hooks, state management patterns, and performance tuning.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Next.js features such as SSR, SSG, ISR, routing, middleware, server actions, and edge rendering.
• Proficient in TypeScript, with the ability to produce predictable, maintainable, and scalable front-end code.
• Experienced in component-driven development, including Storybook workflows, design token usage, and cross-functional handoff from tools like Figma.
• Skilled in modern styling frameworks such as Tailwind or Styled Components, with the ability to build responsive, flexible layouts.
• Competent with data-fetching and state management tools (e.g., Zustand) and integrating both REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Familiar with Node.js tooling, development environments, and build ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of accessibility practices aligned to WCAG AA standards, including semantic markup, keyboard interactions, and screen-reader support.
• Solid foundation in web performance, including bundle optimization, Web Vitals, caching approaches, and efficient asset delivery.
• Consistent track record of contributing to high-quality engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and deployments using platforms like Netlify or Vercel.
• Demonstrates clear communication, reliability, and high craft standards within cross-functional teams.

Compensation: $45-$65/hr. (DOE)
