Senior Change Management Lead
Our client is seeking a Senior Change Management Lead to drive the planning, execution, and sustainment of enterprise change initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in guiding organizations through transformation by assessing impacts, building adoption strategies, and supporting employees through transition. The ideal candidate brings a consultative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels while ensuring business objectives are achieved.
This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in OR, WA, UT, or ID and work PST hours.
Senior Change Management Lead Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive change management strategies that support organizational transformation and improve overall effectiveness.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to assess change impacts, evaluate readiness, and align on implementation plans across business units.
- Identify risks, resistance points, and adoption challenges, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Design and deliver communication plans that clearly articulate change initiatives and keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Evaluate gaps in employee knowledge and capabilities, recommending and supporting training initiatives tied to future-state processes.
- Drive adoption of new processes, systems, and organizational initiatives through structured engagement and support plans.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster alignment, awareness, and long-term buy-in for change efforts.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members and leaders, supporting broader organizational and departmental goals.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance change management approaches and methodologies.
- Operate with a high degree of independence, managing complex initiatives and escalating only the most critical issues when necessary.
Senior Change Management Lead Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, human resources, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale change initiatives within complex organizations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to take a consultative approach and build trusted partnerships across teams.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess impacts and recommend practical solutions.
- Experience supporting training, communication, and adoption strategies tied to business transformation efforts.
- Working knowledge of project management principles and tools.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving change management practices.
- Preferred: Certification in change management methodologies such as Prosci or similar frameworks.
- Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours, with flexibility to support occasional extended hours or weekends as needed.
- Willingness to travel periodically (approximately one week per month, as needed).
