Senior Apparel Designer (Hybrid)
Our client is seeking a highly collaborative Senior Apparel Designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, technical execution, and teamwork. This role is ideal for someone who listens well, takes direction with confidence, and brings proactive problem-solving to a fast-moving, highly confidential product environment. Success in this position requires both strong design fundamentals and the ability to partner closely with cross-functional teammates from concept through delivery.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Senior Apparel Designer (Hybrid) Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the end-to-end apparel design process, from early concept and ideation through development, validation, and final execution.
  • Collaborate closely with a small, agile team and cross-functional partners to translate product vision into manufacturable designs.
  • Develop and refine design concepts using industry-standard tools, ensuring alignment with performance, construction, and material requirements.
  • Support seasonal product initiatives, including uniform and system-based design work, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Communicate design intent, updates, and best practices clearly through presentations and working sessions.

Senior Apparel Designer (Hybrid) Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in apparel or product design, ideally within performance, sport, or technically complex product categories.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Keynote, with the ability to clearly communicate design intent and concepts.
  • Strong understanding of apparel construction, material creation, and product development processes; experience using 3D design tools (e.g., CLO) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in small, fast-moving teams while taking direction well, staying adaptable, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience; experience working within large, matrixed product organizations is valued.

Compensation: Up to $50/hr. (DOE)
