Senior Administrative Assistant
Our client is seeking a highly polished and proactive Senior Administrative Assistant to support senior-level leaders within a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and discretion. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic settings, communicates confidently with diverse stakeholders, and operates with a strong sense of ownership and reliability.
This role is a hybrid model in Byhalia, Mississippi.
Senior Administrative Assistant Responsibilities
- Manage complex and frequently shifting Outlook calendars, including resolving scheduling conflicts and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries, logistics, and last-minute changes.
- Plan and execute meetings, events, and team activities, including space coordination, catering, agendas, and communications.
- Prepare and process expense reports, purchase orders, and budget-related documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
- Create, edit, and format professional documents, presentations, and correspondence with a high level of attention to detail.
- Serve as a liaison between supported leaders and internal or external partners, ensuring clear communication and follow-through.
- Support special projects, initiatives, and operational tasks while maintaining alignment with deadlines and priorities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive business and personnel information.
- Provide administrative coverage and assistance to additional leaders or team members as needed.
Senior Administrative Assistant Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing complex calendars in Outlook within a high-demand business environment.
- Proven ability to support senior-level leaders and interact confidently with diverse personality types and working styles.
- Strong experience coordinating travel and planning meetings or events in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple requests simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, anticipate needs, and work independently with minimal direction.
- Experience handling expenses, purchase orders, or budget tracking is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Previous experience within a large corporate environment is required.
- Prior experience working within the client’s ecosystem is required.
- Education is not required; relevant experience and demonstrated capability are valued more heavily.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and occasionally support needs outside standard business hours.
Compensation: $28.17/hr.
