Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant who thrives in a team-oriented environment and brings a strong balance of technical accounting and financial analysis skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement while fostering positive working relationships.

This role requires in-office training in Salem, OR with the ability to work remote from anywhere in Oregon after the initial training period.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including general ledger management and financial reporting.
• Perform financial planning and analysis activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop financial models and provide insights to support strategic planning and business decisions.
• Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor team members to promote accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Senior Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial planning and analysis.
• Experience within a financial institution or financial services is preferred.
• Proficiency with tools such as an ERP system, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Salary: $60K-$75K/year. (DOE)
