Project Manager
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver complex business-focused initiatives across multiple operational areas. This role oversees projects that may span several departments, involve emerging technologies, or carry significant strategic or financial impact. The ideal candidate brings seasoned project leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to guide teams and stakeholders toward successful outcomes.

This role is fully remote.

Project Manager Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of business-oriented projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational quality standards.
• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional and cross-organizational teams in a matrixed environment, promoting clarity, alignment, and accountability.
• Oversee project communications, schedules, budgets, risk/issue management, and change-management activities.
• Apply business and technical insight to identify challenges early and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Support and guide direct-report project managers, including workload prioritization, performance development, coaching, and overall team effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand priorities and ensure projects are appropriately resourced and supported.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, status reports, and proposals to senior leadership and client stakeholders.
• Participate in staffing activities such as recruitment, talent development, and performance evaluations to maintain a high-performing project team.
• Evaluate project feasibility by analyzing technology needs, resource requirements, and market or operational drivers.
• Review and provide recommendations or approvals on contracts, cost estimates, design changes, and project specifications.
• Partner with internal teams and external clients to negotiate requirements and refine project approaches as needed.
• Conduct regular meeting schedules, follow-up on action items, and track tasks/deliverables to maintain project momentum.

Project Manager Qualifications

• 8–10 years of project management experience with a proven ability to lead cross-functional business initiatives.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Solid understanding of strategic planning, resource management, production workflows, and quality assurance concepts.
• Experience applying both creative and practical problem-solving approaches to resolve a wide range of project challenges.
• Familiarity with MS Project and Visio preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• PMI/PMP certification preferred.
• Experience in financial services, retirement services, or insurance is a plus.
