Our client is seeking a Merchandise Assortment Planner who thrives at the intersection of analytics, collaboration, and strategic thinking. This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Merchandise Assortment Planner Responsibilities

• Develop detailed seasonal merchandise plans, forecasts, and buy strategies aligned to sales, margin, and inventory objectives.
• Own open-to-buy management and retail math analysis to guide assortment decisions and in-season optimization.
• Recap and evaluate weekly business performance, identifying risks and opportunities to inform actionable adjustments.
• Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, allocation, and brand stakeholders to support product lifecycle health.
• Support inventory planning and forecasting activities using data systems, analytics, and structured financial presentations.

Merchandise Assortment Planner Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in merchandise or assortment planning, with exposure to forecasting and inventory management.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, with strong comfort in retail math and open-to-buy concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within cross-functional, matrixed environments.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to present insights and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Compensation: Up to $37.32/hr. (DOE)
