Marketplace Merchandising Manager
Our client is seeking a strategic and culturally aware Marketplace Merchandising Manager to support a fast-paced global sports marketplace. This role is ideal for a data-driven merchandising professional who combines strong business acumen with deep consumer insight to shape compelling product assortments across diverse international markets. The ideal candidate is collaborative, analytically minded, and passionate about global football culture, with the ability to translate market insights into impactful merchandising strategies.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Marketplace Merchandising Manager Responsibilities
- Analyze marketplace performance, consumer insights, and retail data to inform merchandising strategies and seasonal assortment planning.
- Develop and influence product assortment strategies that align with consumer demand, market trends, and regional marketplace opportunities.
- Monitor key merchandising KPIs and retail performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including planning, marketing, merchandising, and operations to align product strategies across global and regional teams.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver differentiated product offerings and support marketplace execution across multiple international regions.
Marketplace Merchandising Manager Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in merchandising, product, marketplace, planning, or buying roles within a retail or consumer products environment.
- Strong knowledge of global football culture and awareness of international clubs and consumer trends within the sport.
- Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to analyze data, interpret retail KPIs, and translate insights into merchandising decisions.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, marketing, and analytics teams.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Compensation: Up to $43.33/hr. (DOE)
