Marketing Project Manager
Our client is seeking a strategic and highly organized Marketing Project Manager to support a dynamic marketing and communications team within a large, mission-driven organization. This individual will serve as both a delivery lead and collaborative partner, guiding cross-functional teams through complex campaigns, special initiatives, and high-visibility events. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, brings structure to ambiguity, and is equally comfortable managing stakeholder relationships and driving execution.

This role is a hybrid model in Boston, Massachusetts.

Marketing Project Manager Responsibilities

• Lead marketing and communications projects from initiation through completion, ensuring deliverables are on time, on strategy, and aligned with business objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating meetings, gathering requirements, and maintaining consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource forecasts while proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Oversee marketing execution for large-scale events and signature programs, partnering with internal teams to support promotion, messaging, and campaign activation.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across marketing, community engagement, development, and related teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery.
• Implement and refine project management processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency and support scalable marketing execution.
• Analyze performance data and campaign insights to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and recommend process improvements.
• Support department leadership with special initiatives, inbound requests, and strategic marketing campaigns.

Marketing Project Manager Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in marketing or communications project management, preferably within complex or highly regulated environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise using project management tools such as Asana, Airtable, or similar platforms.
• Proven experience managing marketing campaigns and coordinating high-profile events or conferences.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities, with success managing competing priorities.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decision-making.
• Project Management certification preferred.
• Healthcare or agency experience is a plus.
