Manager, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Our client is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide ERP platforms. This role partners closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and external service providers to ensure ERP solutions support business objectives, compliance requirements, and long-term scalability within a highly regulated environment.

This role is a hybrid model in Houston, Texas.

Manager of ERP Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and ownership for the organization’s ERP platform, ensuring alignment with business goals, operational efficiency, and future growth.
  • Lead and support ERP implementation, enhancements, and ongoing operations, including oversight of internal ERP support staff and third-party managed services partners.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for ERP performance, vendor accountability, and service delivery, ensuring system reliability and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to define requirements, coordinate testing, and deploy system updates during scheduled maintenance cycles and upgrades.
  • Ensure ERP processes, controls, and supporting documentation meet Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other regulatory compliance standards.
  • Monitor system performance, track open issues, and provide regular status reporting to assess effectiveness and risk.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex ERP-related operational and integration challenges across enterprise systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, system enhancements, and user enablement.

Manager of ERP Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Eight or more years of hands-on experience delivering full lifecycle ERP implementations, including at least two years leading or supervising IT or ERP-focused teams.
  • Extensive experience with modern ERP platforms, including Oracle Fusion modules such as Financials, HCM, SCM, EPM, and related components.
  • Strong background in ERP integrations, reporting, and analytics, including experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and business intelligence tools.
  • Proven ability to operate in SOX-compliant or similarly regulated environments, supporting audit readiness and internal controls.
  • Demonstrated success solving complex enterprise technology issues and working across diverse business functions and technical teams.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, training materials, and process workflows for business users.
  • Preferred experience includes work within highly regulated or publicly traded organizations, exposure to quality frameworks or regulatory standards, and advanced business process mapping expertise.
  • Eligibility to work within U.S. Department of Energy regulatory requirements is required.

Salary: $150K-$181K/year. (DOE)
