Lead Social Media Strategist
Our client is seeking a strategic and creative Lead Social Media Strategist who can bring brand storytelling to life through thoughtful planning, cultural awareness, and compelling content. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing big-picture vision with hands-on execution while collaborating across teams and partners. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and leader who can translate insights into impactful social experiences that resonate with diverse audiences.
This role is onsite in Beaverton, Oregon. Applicants must have flexibility to work during weekends when needed and some travel may be required.
Lead Social Media Strategist Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand and business goals.
- Lead content planning, including campaign roadmaps, content pillars, and platform-specific approaches.
- Manage and mentor a team while overseeing workflows, timelines, and quality of deliverables.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, creative, and communications teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Guide content creation and approvals, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and visual identity.
Lead Social Media Strategist Qualifications
- Proven experience developing and leading social media strategies and campaigns.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and external partners or agencies.
- Ability to translate trends, audience insights, and platform updates into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with experience managing budgets and timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of directly relevant experience.
Compensation: Up to $47.33/hr. (DOE)
