Inventory Coordinator
Our client is seeking a detail-driven Inventory Coordinator who understands how inventory accuracy directly impacts production, compliance, and customer trust. This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, proactive, and analytical—someone who doesn’t just enter data, but investigates discrepancies, understands inventory flow, and takes ownership of accuracy in a fast-growing and highly regulated manufacturing environment. The right candidate brings strong systems knowledge, sharp Excel skills, and the confidence to dig in and solve problems before they escalate.
This role is onsite in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Inventory Coordinator Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end inventory tracking across raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods
- Prepare for and support audits through detailed traceability, cycle counts, variance investigation, and root cause analysis
- Run, analyze, and reconcile inventory reports using Excel (pivot tables, lookups) to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records across e-commerce platforms, ERP/MRP systems, and accounting software
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and operations teams
Inventory Coordinator Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with inventory control in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment (food manufacturing strongly preferred)
- Required experience using Shopify for inventory and e-commerce workflows
- Intermediate Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and lookup functions for data analysis
- Experience with inventory management software and systems such as MRP/ERP and accounting platforms
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage unit conversions, investigate variances, and ensure data integrity
Salary: $50K-$55K/year. (DOE)
Benefits
Benefits are available to eligible full-time employees and include coverage for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, and matching 401k.
