Interim Director of Finance
Our community based non-profit partner is seeking a hands-on, adaptable Director of Finance to support a leadership transition on an interim basis.

This role is a hybrid model Beaverton, Oregon, with a minimum of 2 days per week in office.

Interim Director of Finance Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process and prepare accurate, timely monthly financial statements.
• Prepare and present clear, actionable financial reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Oversee multi-entity accounting across affiliated entities, subsidiaries, and partnerships.
• Manage complex funding streams while maintaining strong internal controls and financial accuracy.
• Lead budget development, monitoring, and variance analysis in partnership with program and operational leaders.

Interim Director of Finance Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in nonprofit, housing, or property management.
• Experience with Sage Intacct is required.
• Demonstrated experience owning the month-end close process and financial statement preparation.
• Experience preparing and presenting financial reports to executive leadership or a Board of Directors.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical guidance for non-finance stakeholders.

Compensation: $55-$65/hr. (DOE)
