Full Stack Software Engineer
Our client is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support the development of a technology platform designed to deliver data-driven performance insights through integrated hardware and cloud-based systems. This role will contribute across the full application stack, supporting both on-premise software and cloud-native services while collaborating with a globally distributed engineering team. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical problems, building scalable solutions, and working in a collaborative environment where both technical depth and clear communication are valued.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Full Stack Software Engineer Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features across the full technology stack, including Python-based on-premise applications, cloud services, and React front-end components.
• Design and implement event-driven workflows within AWS to support data ingestion, processing pipelines, and delivery of performance insights.
• Build and maintain integrations with external platforms using REST APIs, OAuth authentication flows, and webhook-based communication.
• Author and maintain infrastructure-as-code using TypeScript and AWS CDK to support scalable cloud architecture.
• Troubleshoot and debug distributed systems using logging, monitoring, and observability tools across both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and CI/CD improvements to ensure high-quality and maintainable software.
• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional engineering team and partner with offshore development teams to deliver integrated platform capabilities.

Full Stack Software Engineer Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience developing production applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development and scripting within production environments.
• Experience developing with TypeScript in a backend or full-stack capacity.
• Working knowledge of React for building user interfaces and integrating with APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB or relational databases, and CloudWatch.
• Experience working with infrastructure-as-code tools, preferably AWS CDK.
• Demonstrated ability to debug distributed systems using logs, monitoring tools, and observability platforms.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party systems.
• Familiarity with asynchronous processing patterns such as message queues, retries, and dead-letter handling.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and a strong testing mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, but not required.
• AWS certification preferred but not required.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience integrating on-premise systems with cloud platforms or working with desktop-based applications is a plus.

Compensation: Up to $50/hr. (DOE)
