Front Desk Administrative Assistant
Our education client is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a busy department while serving as the first point of contact for visitors and internal stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in organization, accuracy, and delivering excellent customer service in a collaborative office environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoys supporting team operations while ensuring administrative processes run smoothly.
This role is a hybrid model in Oregon City, Oregon with a minimum of 3x per week in-office.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary front desk point of contact, greeting visitors, responding to inquiries, and directing requests to appropriate team members or resources.
- Provide administrative support to department leadership, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, coordinating calendars, and documenting meeting notes.
- Maintain departmental records and assist with operational tracking by organizing documentation, updating spreadsheets, and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Support departmental financial processes by organizing receipts, tracking expenses, and preparing documentation for invoices and purchasing activities.
- Coordinate day-to-day office operations, including managing communications, assisting with scheduling and planning activities, and supporting internal projects and events.
Administrative Assistant Qualifications
- 1 or more years of administrative or front desk experience in a customer-facing environment required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide professional customer service while serving as a primary point of contact for students, staff, or the public.
- Education, healthcare, or government experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Associate’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant administrative experience.
Compensation: $22/hr.
