Data Reporting Analyst
Our client is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to support a complex dispute resolution program through advanced analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights. This role plays a key part in transforming large, complex healthcare datasets into meaningful metrics that guide operational strategy and financial decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating with technical and business teams to improve reporting capabilities and uncover actionable insights.

This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Utah, or Idaho.

Data Reporting Analyst Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting metrics that track dispute case trends, financial impact, resolution outcomes, and operational performance.
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting tools that provide leadership with clear visibility into program performance and key data trends.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple systems and databases.
  • Perform detailed trend and root cause analyses to identify risk factors, cost drivers, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Data Reporting Analyst Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2–3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence roles, preferably within healthcare or insurance environments.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and experience performing complex data queries and database analysis.
  • Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced analytical skills with Microsoft Excel and the ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
