Customer Service Specialist
Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This individual brings strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering timely, high-quality support. The ideal candidate is reliable, solutions-focused, and capable of quickly learning new systems and processes.
This role is onsite in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving issues related to orders, claims, and service requests with accuracy and professionalism.
- Investigate and manage tickets and freight claims, ensuring timely follow-up, clear communication, and appropriate resolution or escalation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, claim statuses, and transactional data within internal systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and distribution centers to support efficient issue resolution and operational continuity.
- Monitor daily workload and performance metrics, ensuring timely responses, task completion, and adherence to service-level expectations.
Customer Service Specialist Qualifications
- 0–2 years of customer service, call center, or related experience required.
- Experience with SAP and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required for potential full-time conversion.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $24-$27/hr. (DOE)
