Controller
Our property management client is seeking a Controller to lead their well-established accounting team. This individual will thrive in a dynamic, privately held environment, reporting directly to company ownership. The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong GAAP accounting knowledge, team leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner across all divisions of an organization.

This role is onsite in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

Controller Responsibilities

• Own and lead the full month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear financial visibility.
• Oversee treasury activities, including cash management, banking functions, and financial controls.
• Coordinate with external partners on tax compliance, reporting requirements, and regulatory filings.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while maintaining proper segregation of duties.
• Partner cross-functionally with operational leadership.

Controller Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including direct ownership of month-end close.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading accounting staff or client engagements.
• Experience working within privately held or closely held organizations, reporting directly to ownership.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Industry experience with property management or a family-office organization highly preferred.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. CPA license is strongly preferred.

Salary: $150K–$165K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
