Compensation Analyst (Hybrid)
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Compensation Analyst who thrives at the intersection of data, equity, and people-focused decision making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex compensation data into clear insights, partnering cross-functionally, and supporting fair, competitive, and compliant compensation programs. Success in this role requires strong analytical judgment, discretion, and a service-oriented mindset.
This role is a hybrid model in Portland, Oregon.
Compensation Analyst Responsibilities
- Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, and internal equity analyses; provide data-driven recommendations and reporting.
- Support annual compensation programs including merit cycles, incentives, and recognition initiatives.
- Maintain and manage compensation tools and resources, including position descriptions and salary survey libraries.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and managers to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and effective program delivery.
- Respond to compensation inquiries and support ongoing documentation, audits, and process improvements.
Compensation Analyst Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or benefits administration.
- Working knowledge of compensation principles, employment regulations, and market benchmarking.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel with the ability to analyze data and present clear conclusions.
- Strong communication, prioritization, and customer service skills in a collaborative environment.
Compensation: $35-$45/hr. (DOE)
