Business Analyst (Supply Chain)
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst (Supply Chain) to support critical supply chain initiatives through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration. This role will play a key part in optimizing inventory movement, supporting distribution network transitions, and improving operational performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical foundation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Business Analyst (Supply Chain) Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across supply chain operations, including inventory movement and distribution center performance.
- Support network transition initiatives, including distribution center changes, inventory relocation, and order book cleanup efforts.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track business performance and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, planning, and analytics teams to align data insights with business objectives and operational readiness.
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to drive decision-making.
- Monitor key supply chain metrics and proactively identify areas for process improvement and optimization.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of reporting tools, data models, and analytics best practices.
- Communicate findings effectively across teams, tailoring messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Business Analyst (Supply Chain) Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or supply chain analytics role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Databricks for data analysis and visualization.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and tell compelling data-driven stories that influence business decisions.
- Experience working cross-functionally and building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present insights across multiple platforms.
- High attention to detail with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience with Python or similar programming languages is a plus.
- Prior experience supporting supply chain operations within a large, complex organization is highly preferred.
Compensation: Up to $48/hr. (DOE)
