Apparel Materials Developer
Our client is seeking an Apparel Materials Developer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, data, and execution. This role suits a highly organized, analytically minded collaborator who can translate complex information into clear, actionable guidance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across diverse teams, balancing multiple priorities, and driving product concepts into tangible samples.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Apparel Materials Developer Responsibilities
- Translate design concepts and project briefs into 3D samples aligned with aesthetic, performance, cost, and sustainability goals.
- Navigate and simplify complex data to support material selection and product decisions.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
- Drive material readiness, sourcing coordination, and on-time delivery across product phases.
- Support commercialization efforts by ensuring materials and projects are production-ready.
Apparel Materials Developer Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant product creation or materials development experience.
- Strong ability to interpret, organize, and communicate complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated success collaborating across functions and interacting with varied stakeholders.
- Background in materials, product development, project management, or data analysis preferred.
Compensation: Up to $32/hr. (DOE)
