Apparel Designer (Footwear)
Our client is seeking a creative and curious Footwear Designer who brings strong product instincts, technical fluency, and a collaborative mindset to seasonal design work. This individual will contribute thoughtful design solutions across performance footwear, balancing innovation, manufacturability, and brand vision. The ideal candidate is energized by cross-functional partnership, clear storytelling, and translating ideas from concept through production.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seasonal footwear design concepts aligned to creative direction, briefs, and performance objectives.
• Create original designs and evolve existing product lines with guidance from design leadership.
• Execute design solutions across base and extended product tracks, spanning multiple price points and model types.
• Communicate and present design concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, development, manufacturing, and product partners throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design (or related field) with 3–4+ years of footwear design experience.
• Strong knowledge of performance footwear design, materials, construction, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with preferred experience using advanced digital and 3D design tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full creative process from brief through presentation and production.
• Open, curious, and collaborative mindset with strong communication and presentation skills.

Compensation: Up to $53.33/hr. (DOE)
