ADP Benefits Administrator / Analyst
Our client is seeking an ADP Benefits Administrator / Analyst to provide technical support for benefits administration and open enrollment preparation. This role focuses heavily on the backend configuration of benefit plans within ADP Workforce Now (WFN), ensuring accurate setup, eligibility rules, and alignment with payroll processes. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented benefits professional who brings strong system expertise, process improvement skills, and the ability to build efficient workflows that support a smooth and compliant open enrollment cycle.
This hybrid role is based in Portland, Oregon and will begin part-time working approximately 20–25 hours per week, with hours increasing to full-time as open enrollment preparation ramps up.
ADP Benefits Administrator / Analyst Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain benefit plan setup within ADP Workforce Now (WFN), including eligibility rules, plan structures, and rate configurations.
- Partner with payroll stakeholders to ensure accurate alignment between benefit elections, payroll deductions, and related system processes.
- Troubleshoot system setup issues, investigate discrepancies, and ensure benefit data is configured accurately prior to open enrollment.
- Develop documentation outlining benefit administration workflows, timelines, and best practices to support future open enrollment cycles.
- Create tools, trackers, and process documentation to improve operational efficiency across benefits and payroll workflows.
- Support preparation and rollout of open enrollment by assisting with communication materials and technical setup.
- Respond to employee questions related to benefit enrollment, deductions, and system functionality during open enrollment periods.
- Provide guidance or training to internal team members on benefit administration processes and system workflows.
ADP Benefits Administrator / Analyst Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, HRIS benefits systems, or benefits operations.
- Strong experience configuring and managing benefit plans within ADP Workforce Now (WFN) or a comparable HRIS benefits platform.
- Demonstrated understanding of how benefits administration intersects with payroll processing, including deductions and reconciliation considerations.
- Experience troubleshooting benefit plan setup issues and validating eligibility rules, rates, and system configurations.
- Proven ability to document workflows, establish operational processes, and create internal resources or training materials.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex data and ensure accuracy in benefit configurations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across HR, payroll, and operations teams.
- Experience supporting open enrollment planning and execution, including system setup and employee communications, is preferred.
