ADP Benefits Administrator
Our client is seeking an experienced ADP Benefits Administrator to provide technical benefits support in preparation for an upcoming open enrollment cycle. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented benefits professional who excels at configuring complex benefit plans in ADP WorkForce Now, improving processes, and collaborating cross-functionally with payroll and HR teams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, technical benefits expertise, and the ability to translate complex plan designs into accurate system configurations while helping teams operate more efficiently.

This hybrid role is based in Portland, Oregon and will begin part-time working approximately 20–25 hours per week, with hours increasing to full-time as open enrollment preparation ramps up.

ADP Benefits Administrator Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain benefit plans within ADP WorkForce Now, including eligibility rules, plan structures, and rate data.
  • Translate benefit plan design details into accurate system configurations while troubleshooting setup discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure proper alignment between benefit elections, deductions, and payroll processes.
  • Document workflows, timelines, and best practices to improve efficiency and create repeatable open enrollment processes.
  • Support open enrollment preparation and execution, including responding to employee questions and developing benefit resources.

ADP Benefits Administrator Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience administering benefits within ADP WorkForce Now, including plan configuration and setup.
  • Strong understanding of benefit plan design, eligibility rules, and rate structures.
  • Experience collaborating with payroll teams to ensure accurate benefit deductions and reconciliation.
  • Ability to document processes, develop workflows, and implement operational improvements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to support employees and internal stakeholders.
