Business Operations & Analytics Manager (Hybrid)
Our client is seeking a Business Operations & Analytics Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership within a complex clinical support environment. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, solutions-oriented leader who combines strong analytical judgment with the ability to develop teams, improve workflows, manage competing priorities, and build productive relationships across clinical and operational groups.
This role is a hybrid model in Boston, Massachusetts working from 8AM-4:30PM.
Business Operations & Analytics Manager Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations, staffing, workflow planning, and resource allocation to support consistent and efficient delivery of sterile processing and clinical support services.
- Monitor operational performance, quality measures, labor and supply utilization, and other key metrics to identify trends and implement process improvements.
- Manage, coach, and develop supervisors and staff, including performance management, training, scheduling, workforce planning, and adherence to organizational policies.
- Maintain compliance with applicable sterile processing, infection prevention, safety, quality, and regulatory standards while supporting ongoing readiness and continuous improvement.
- Partner with clinical, surgical, operational, and physician stakeholders to resolve service issues, improve procedural flow, manage instrumentation needs, and advance departmental initiatives.
Business Operations & Analytics Manager Qualifications
- 5+ years of recent experience within sterile processing, surgical services, operating room operations, or a closely related environment, including prior supervisory experience in sterile processing.
- Strong knowledge of decontamination, sterilization, high-level disinfection, infection prevention, instrumentation workflows, inventory practices, and applicable healthcare quality standards.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze operational challenges, evaluate performance data, manage resources and budgets, and implement practical process improvements.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coach employees, delegate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across functions.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred. Current or timely attainment of an applicable sterile processing certification is required, with healthcare leadership certification expected within the designated timeframe.
Compensation: $38-$41/hr. (DOE)
