- Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, scope services, and align sourcing strategies with operational needs.
- Develop and manage bid documentation, evaluate supplier proposals, and facilitate structured selection processes.
- Negotiate pricing, service-level agreements, and contract terms to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
- Draft, review, and administer service-based contracts, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance tracking, issue resolution, and ongoing engagement.
- Ensure contract documentation is accurate, compliant, and audit-ready throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Support supplier onboarding and ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and governance standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and enhanced supplier value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive alignment, communicate progress, and ensure successful execution of sourcing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 2–4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management roles.
- Proven experience leading RFPs and other RFx processes from intake through award.
- Demonstrated ability to source and negotiate contracts for mid-complexity, service-based categories.
- Experience partnering directly with internal stakeholders to define requirements and influence sourcing decisions.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage service agreements and vendor terms effectively.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and tools (e.g., ERP platforms, contract management systems, SharePoint).
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier proposals, pricing models, and market conditions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sourcing events and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Preferred
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or similar.
- Experience in enterprise or regulated procurement environments.
- Comfort presenting sourcing strategies, recommendations, and outcomes to stakeholders.
