Technical Program Manager
Our client is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic business outcomes. This role requires a strong program leader who can operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while aligning technical teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to deliver high-impact results.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance and be comfortable collaborating across global time zones as needed.

Technical Program Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex technical programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across engineering, product, design, and operations to align scope, priorities, and dependencies.
  • Translate high-level business goals into structured program plans, milestones, and actionable deliverables.
  • Facilitate program planning, prioritization, and execution within Agile frameworks, ensuring continuous progress and adaptability.
  • Proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain program momentum.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and executive leadership through clear, concise reporting and dashboards.
  • Influence decision-making across teams without direct authority, fostering alignment and accountability.
  • Partner with technical teams to assess feasibility, sequencing, and tradeoffs across cloud, API, and data platform initiatives.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain program documentation, governance processes, and reporting structures to support transparency and operational excellence.

Technical Program Manager Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, product operations, or a related technical leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional programs in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Technical fluency in cloud platforms, APIs, and data ecosystems, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and driving continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data, KPIs, and dashboards to guide decision-making.
  • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Power BI, or similar program tracking and reporting platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (5+ years of relevant program management experience in lieu of degree).
  • PMP, CSM, or similar certification preferred.

Compensation: $45-$52/hr. (DOE)
