Merchandising Operations Analyst
Our client is seeking a Merchandising Operations Analyst to support product line execution and operational processes within a fast-paced, cross-functional retail environment. This individual will play a key role in managing merchandising data, supporting seasonal initiatives, and partnering closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution. The ideal candidate brings a balance of analytical strength, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to take initiative and contribute to process improvements.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Merchandising Operations Analyst Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain product line and merchandising data across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Support seasonal merchandising execution for an assigned product category, including updates, tracking, and coordination.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day operational questions, escalating issues and driving resolution as needed.
- Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, sales, and supply chain teams to align on priorities and execution.
- Analyze data sets to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Assist in the development, documentation, and communication of new tools, processes, and best practices.
- Contribute to project-based work, including process enhancements and system updates.
- Provide support coverage for team needs, ensuring continuity of operations during peak periods or absences.
- Collaborate closely with a team of analysts, fostering a strong team-oriented and solutions-driven environment.
Merchandising Operations Analyst Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in merchandising, retail operations, project management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with data management systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large sets of data.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet or similar) is a plus.
- Proven ability to take initiative, solve problems, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Compensation: Up to $35.33/hr. (DOE)
