HR Business Partner – Employee Relations
Our client is seeking a highly approachable and solutions-oriented HR Business Partner – Employee Relations who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric environment. This individual brings strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate complex employee situations while coaching leaders with confidence and care. The ideal candidate is a visible, trusted partner who balances compliance, empathy, and business needs to foster a positive and productive workplace.
This role is a hybrid model in Boston, Massachusetts.
HR Business Partner – Employee Relations Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, addressing employee relations matters, accommodations, and workplace concerns.
- Coach leaders on performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement strategies.
- Ensure consistent application and compliance of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Partner cross-functionally to support HR initiatives, projects, and organizational goals.
- Analyze HR and business metrics to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions.
HR Business Partner – Employee Relations Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3–6 years of experience in HR generalist or HR business partner roles with a strong focus on employee relations.
- Experience supporting both union and non-union environments preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
