Executive Assistant / IT Administrator
Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant / IT Administrator to support senior technology leadership. This individual will play a key role in driving executive operations, ensuring alignment across teams, and enhancing internal processes through strong coordination, communication, and follow-through. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, and brings a continuous improvement mindset to leadership support functions.
This role is a hybrid model in Boston, Massachusetts.
Executive Assistant / IT Administrator Responsibilities
- Manage executive calendars, meeting cadence, and leadership operating rhythms, including agenda development and follow-up tracking.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives by gathering inputs, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring timely communication across teams.
- Support execution of projects and leadership priorities by monitoring timelines, deliverables, and accountability across departments.
- Draft, edit, and maintain high-quality executive communications, reports, and documentation with attention to detail.
- Identify opportunities to improve executive support processes and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive information, communications, and organizational priorities.
- Provide guidance and best practices to administrative staff supporting leadership functions as needed.
Executive Assistant / IT Administrator Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience supporting senior leadership, with a strong preference for experience within IT or technology organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, priorities, and workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- 1–2 years of experience supporting projects or coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of an organization.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Exposure to technology leadership environments or IT operations is a plus.
