Footwear Merchandising Lead
Our client is seeking a dynamic Footwear Merchandising Lead who combines strong retail instincts with a deep understanding of the consumer and marketplace. This role calls for a proactive and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, using data, product insights, and strong cross-functional relationships to shape compelling product assortments. The ideal candidate is curious, driven, and highly communicative, with a passion for footwear and the ability to influence strategy while navigating a complex merchandising ecosystem.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Footwear Merchandising Lead Responsibilities:

• Develop consumer-centric footwear assortment strategies by blending data insights, market trends, and product intuition.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including merchandising, planning, marketing, finance, and analytics to execute seasonal product strategies.
• Translate consumer, sales, and marketplace insights into both in-season adjustments and future merchandising plans.
• Support multi-season product planning while contributing to seasonal reviews, assortment builds, and partner alignment.
• Create and deliver merchandising tools and presentations that communicate seasonal priorities to marketplace stakeholders.

Footwear Merchandising Lead Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in merchandising, product creation, retail, or related consumer product environments.
• Direct experience in footwear merchandising, with strong understanding of retail product lifecycles and marketplace dynamics.
• Proficiency with merchandising and business tools such as MMX, AV tools, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong analytical and retail acumen, including familiarity with metrics such as sell-through, margin performance, and inventory management.
• Highly motivated and collaborative professional with strong networking skills, curiosity, and the ability to influence cross-functional partners.

Compensation: Up to $43.33/hr. (DOE)
