Software Engineer
Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to help build and evolve a platform that delivers advanced training insights through a combination of in-store technology and cloud-based services. This role will contribute across the full technology stack, supporting applications that capture, process, and deliver performance data through integrated digital experiences. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset to a fast-paced engineering environment.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software features across a full-stack environment including on-premise applications, cloud services, and web interfaces.
• Build and support event-driven workflows that handle data ingestion, processing, and delivery of performance insights.
• Create and maintain backend services and integrations that enable secure data sharing with external platforms and APIs.
• Contribute to frontend development by enhancing user-facing interfaces and digital experiences.
• Design and manage infrastructure components using infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality development standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug distributed systems using logs, monitoring tools, and observability platforms.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across development workflows and CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering or full-stack development.
• Strong programming experience in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience building applications using React or similar modern frontend frameworks.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying solutions in AWS environments.
• Ability to debug distributed systems using logs, monitoring tools, and observability platforms.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to take initiative and manage work independently.

Preferred

• AWS certification or similar cloud credentials.
• Experience integrating on-premise systems with cloud platforms.
• Experience developing desktop or edge-based software applications.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, API integrations, OAuth authentication, and webhook-based workflows.

Compensation: Up to $61.33/hr. (DOE)
