Information Specialist
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Information Specialist to support a large-scale device refresh initiative within a collaborative technology environment. This role focuses on provisioning and deploying Windows-based devices, maintaining accurate system documentation, and delivering responsive technical support to internal users. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable following established procedures while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

This role is onsite in Portland, Oregon.

Information Specialist Responsibilities

• Provision and deploy Windows laptops and desktops using automated device enrollment and configuration tools.
• Install required applications and system updates using enterprise software deployment platforms.
• Document technical work, updates, and resolutions within the organization’s IT service management ticketing system.
• Maintain and update asset inventory records to ensure accurate tracking of deployed hardware.
• Communicate with internal users and team members through chat, phone, ticketing systems, and in-person support while adhering to established policies and procedures.

Information Specialist Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting desktop hardware, Windows devices, or IT support environments.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow defined processes and documentation standards.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to support users through multiple communication channels.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, device troubleshooting, and general desktop support practices.
• Experience with device management or support tools such as Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, or ServiceNow is preferred.
